Summer Camp

Each summer starting in June, overnight camping session are available to adults 18 and over with a wide range of support needs.

Activities include Art, Crafts, music, dance, sports, drama, swimming and fishing. In addition, there is a small farm where vacationers may interact with a variety of farm animals and go horseback riding.

Our vacationer to staff ratios vary from 1:1 to 4:1, and our program activities are adapted to fit the abilities of each vacationer to assure chances for successful involvement.

Summer Schedule and Fees

Our fees for 2010 are listed below. Our fees include the choice of a T-shirt. 

Regular Mountains Program - $910 / Session
Special Needs Program - $1050 / Session
Stayover between Sessions - $120 / Each Day

SPECIAL: Our fees for Session 1 remains at 2009 prices. Please call for information.
There is a $25 discount on SESSION fees, when paid in full and in advance of vacationer's attendance at Eagle Springs.

We are offering seven, 7 day sessions at the Mountains for Summer 2010. A reminder- stayover days are open only to vacationers who are enrolled for the entire session on either side of the stayover.

#2 - Fri., July 2 / Thurs., July 8 ... #2/3 Stayover Day July 9.

#3 - Sat., July 10 / Fri., July 16 ... #3/4 No Stayover Day offered.

#4 - Tues., July 20 / Mon., July 26 ... #4/5 Stayover Day July 27.

#5 - Wed., July 28 / Tues., Aug 3 ... #5/6 Stayover Day Aug. 4

#6 - Thurs., Aug. 5 / Wed., Aug. 11 ... #6/7 Stayover Day Aug. 12

#7 - Fri., Aug. 13 / Thurs., Aug 19  ... No Stayover Day offered.

  TRANSPORTATION

Eagle Springs provides coach transportation from various pick-up spots in the Philadelphia area.  We do not have special transportation for vacationers who use wheelchairs; if you choose to use our transportation, they will be lifted onto the coach.  The stops are 30th St., King of Prussia Mall, Strawbridges in the Northeast, Days Inn at Allentown, and Watertower Square in Montgomeryville.

Transportation details, along with a pre-camp packet will be sent two weeks prior to the vacationer's session date.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Please complete ALL information on the application, including zip codes, session numbers, etc., and please be sure that the application has been signed at the bottom of the last page!  Accurate emergency information is vital! We realize that much information is duplicated other places or that there may be no changes in information from the previous summer.  However, clear and complete information forms speed the application process and enable us to better server our consumers.

DEPOSITS

A deposit of $100 OR an agency authorization form must accompany all applications. If an application is withdrawn anytime up to two weeks before a session begins, all funds paid to Eagle Springs will be refunded minus a $25 administration fee upon receipt of a letter station the reason for withdrawal.  If it is more convenient, funds can be held as credit to use for a later session or a country weekend and no administrative fee will be charged. If you withdraw within two weeks of your scheduled session, all funds minus the $100 deposit will be refunded.

MEDICAL FORMS

Medical forms accompany the application package, but it is not necessary to return them at the same time. Please make sure the medical form is filled out completely, including the OTC form, and have the physician sign where necessary.  Each vacationer must have a doctors signature for permission to participate in activities and standing orders for all medications that will be dispensed. Further information about medications will accompany the pre-camp packet.  No vacationer may attend a session without a completed medical form. We will accept applicant's current physical (provided) it was within 12 months of attendance at camp.  In lieu of a physician signed copy of our medical form WE ask that a copy of our physical form is still filled out by family or staff. It may contain information no listed on an annual physical.

REGISTRATION/ RESERVATIONS

Space is limited in our Special Needs Program. We encourage vacationers interested in this program to register as early as possible as spaces fill quickly.  We will take phone reservations. But all phone reservations must be followed in writing immediately. Places will be held for only two weeks.

We will stop taking reservations on June 1st.
